49. No Mention of the Fire in Rome AD 64
The fire that broke out in Rome in the summer of A.D. 64 caused widespread damage and great loss of life. It was a monumental catastrophe A quite worthy of mention, especially by a careful historian whom the author of Acts has proven to be. The absence of any mention of this event probably indicates that the book of Acts was completed before the disaster occurred.
