Please consider this response to a story on the prime-time newscast of the CBC on Thursday, February 12, 2009:]

“Happy 200th Birthday Chucky…You’re One “Cool” Dude”

    There is no greater accolade coveted by the aged it seems, but the admiration of a younger generation of people. Being considered relevant, respected and in-tune with the younger folks is far less disconcerting than being regarded as disconnected and out of touch with their issues. However, when the so-called “main stream media” could find no better adjective to describe the long deceased Charles Darwin on the advent of his 200th anniversary, than repeatedly calling him “a cool guy”, I am reminded that they are essentially as clueless as the very deluded world they live in.

    The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) featured in their newscast this evening a story headlining Darwin for his “contributions” to science, but could only cite part of the title of his book “The Origin of the Species” on national television. Heaven forbid the mainstream media should be honest with the public and expose the truth about this aggrandized idol. Instead, an elated fan of evolution was presented telling the public to celebrate by making and wearing T-shirts labeling Darwin as a “Cool Guy”, a citation that was repeated by the news anchorwoman, and then her co-hosts.

    The question then begs to be answered, why should we celebrate Darwin, and what contributions could we applaud in the government funded schoolrooms on this momentous occasion.

    Well, let us consider Charles Darwin’s most significant scientific contribution, his book “The Origin of the Species By Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life”. Correct! Charles Darwin promoted racism the likes of which has been espoused by hundreds of statesmen and consequently the resources they control to oppress, enslave and annihilate other human beings – considered a less “preferred race” by Darwin’s unscientific and irresponsible conclusions. Don’t be quick to attribute to “mad-man” status these men and woman of history who would spew venomous cursing at another human simply for the degree of melanin in their skin cells. We should be slow to judge the abortionist who views the living tissue within any creature but humans, to be a living organism in kind with it’s host. The bullied youth and the rape victim simply have yet to comprehend what so many gun-wielding students and serial murderers have discovered, that by embracing Darwinian philosophy we are only the casualty until we assert our inherited “survival” instincts and rise above our challengers in this “struggle for life”.

    The hourglass empties under the force of gravity, minutes ticking away until the diseases that plague our planet are abolished through the natural selection of the strongest genetic codes, and the obliteration of all others. The investment into modern medicine and the hope for a miracle will one day be forgotten thanks to a series of ‘random’ mutations that must one day occur in the genetic code of every living organism. We can truly celebrate Darwin when once we too embrace his contribution of propagating godlessness, bloodthirstiness, and violence at every turn of nature.

    Those who would don T-shirts and call Darwin a “cool guy” should consider banners on their sleeves like: “Murderers rule supreme”, “Abortion is nature's way of cleaning out the family tree”,   “Suicide no important genetic data was lost”, “Homosexuality produces nothing for the soup, but it clears out weak genetic coding a single generation”. Surely no decent human being living in any civilized way would consider these as family mantras, nor would they accuse the Government as being only for the genetically elite, (an Aryan race); or view the Police and Army as obstructions to the natural cause by standing in defense of the weak.  Follow Darwinian thought to its logical conclusion, and I defy anyone to prove that it would not be a means to justify the “genetic cleansing” of whole groups of people who are considered to be weak genetically and thus would stagnate the growth of the “fittest” genetic codes.

    Darwin’s conclusions are enabling twisted individuals to justify their cruelties and selfish lusts, expanding the ever-growing moral bankruptcy that is present throughout the world. Nothing is off limits when once Charles Darwin’s evolutionary philosophy is ingrained into the minds of a society. A deterioration of decency and dignity, and the absence of compassion scar our world because of Darwin and especially those who pressured him to publish and propagate this book.

    I won’t apologize for not setting off fireworks for old Chucky, and I most certainly won’t be found wearing anything to promote or praise his legacy. In point of fact, people should rather dress in black and strum the dirge on their stringed instruments; for this man has been selfishly exploited by so many to validate their personal agendas and self-promotion to the detriment of so many. No cake would I cut this day, nor candle would I light, but I would rather suggest we hug our loved ones and celebrate each of them as a gift from God; sent to be a comfort, a blessing and a help in a very dark, lost and loveless world. Truly, this is way “cooler” thinking than the state owned media wants all of us to believe it is.
