John 6:47 "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." John 11:25 "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. " John 14:6 "Whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12 "these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." John 20:31 Peter's Attestation: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 Many More Instances: The New Testament is absolutely replete with the teaching that human beings - all of us - have sinned against God and have become hopelessly estranged from Him. The wages for our sin is death. All are guilty. The punishment must be exacted. No amount of effort or "good works" can earn us a ticket into heaven when we die. Yet God is unfathomably merciful, and created a way back to Himself. He sent His Son Jesus, to die as payment for our sins. Today we need only acknowledge our sins, and accept Jesus Christ as our own personal Saviour to enjoy fellowship with our Creator now and in the life yet to come.
