1.Cosmological Argument for G-D

5. The Nature of G-D

• Inherent character of a person, Essence: the real attributes of a person.
• 1. LOVE
  • I John 4:8  “He that loveth not knoweth not G-D: for G-D is love”.
  • John 3:16 “For G-D so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoso ever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
• 2. HOLINESS
  • Lev. 19:2b “Ye shall be holy: for I the L-RD your G-D am holy”.
  • Isa. 6:3b “Holy, holy, holy, is the L-RD of hosts:”.
  • 1 Pet. 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy”.
• 3. TRUTH

7. Attributes of G-D

• 1. OMNISCIENCE: eternal knowledge of all things, whether actual or possible- past, present, future.
  • Isa. 46:9,10  declares end from beginning
  • Isa. 48:3-8 declared former things 
  • Psa. 147:4 telleth the stars by their names
  • Psa. 33:13 looks from heaven see sons of men
• 2. OMNIPRESENCE : Totality of His presence, He fills the universe in all its parts.
  • 1 Kings 8:27 “But will G-D indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?”
  •  Rom. 4:17 “… and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”
• 3. OMNIPOTENCE : Power of G-D to do all things with or without the use of means.
  • Gen. 1:1 Created the heaven & the earth
  • Mt. 6:13 Thine is the kingdom & the power
  • Jer 10:12 “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion."
